Thomas Deacon Academy perform of The Sound of Music
Students from Thomas Deacon Academy delivered two performances of the hit musical, The Sound of Music in January 2019.
The Drama Theatre was filled with staff, students and parents/carers who had come to support and appreciate the aspiring thespians as they delivered one of the most well-known and loved stage shows.
The show was performed by students from Year 7 to Year 11 and the delivery was outstanding, with the characters being played on point and the singing ability shining through.
Well done to Miss Connelly and Mr Moore for the direction, choreography and music, the performers for their hard work and commitment to their roles, the production team for their support in creating the set and assisting stage transitions throughout the performance, Media Leaders for covering the event and Mrs Clapham for all her hard work with the costumes and puppetry.
