QKA celebrate 'Local Heroes'

QKA students start working on a new Erasmus+ project with partner schools in Spain and Germany.

Fifteen students from Queen Katharine Academy have had the fantastic opportunity of taking part in an exciting Erasmus project about ‘Local Heroes’.

The first stage of the project saw the group travel to Albertus-Magnus Gymnasium school in Germany to work with project partners.  During the visit, the students worked with peers from Germany and Spain to research and discuss ideas for the project, while learning about the language and culture of Germany.

The next stage of the project will see QKA host students from the partner schools  in October 2019, followed by the final project visit to Spain in 2020.
