The three year Erasmus+ Fairtrade project reaches a conclusion in Italy
After three years, March 2018 saw the final transnational student exchange of the Erasmus+ Fairtrade project. Five Year 12 students, accompanied by staff, visited Liceo Statale 'Isabella Gonzaga' in the small town of Chieti on the East coast of Italy.
The main objective of this visit was to host an exhibition showcasing Fairtrade products that had been designed and produced by each of the partner schools. The exhibition was a huge success with products such as fashion, games, sweets and wicker bags on show, while the students talked to visitors from the community and neighbouring schools about the project and the Fairtrade product they had chosen to promote.
In addition to the exhibition, the students spent time exploring the local culture and producers.
