Local schools come together for the Community Carol Concert
Monday evening saw students from Queen Katharine Academy, Lime Academy Abbotsmede, Gladstone Primary Academy and The Beeches Primary School join students from Thomas Deacon Academy to participate in the annual TDA Community Carol Service at Peterborough Cathedral.
The Acting Dean of Peterborough led the service which saw the congregation join in with Christmas Carols between readings, musical performances and some wonderful interpretations of the nativity story.
Renditions ...of 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Rockin Around The Christmas Tree' from the QKA Swing Band and 'Walking in The Air' from TDA student, Lara Wade were outstanding and demonstrated the elevated standard of musical talent of our students.
This was a magical evening that saw the community come together to celebrate one of the highlights of the Academy calendar.
